Given the kinds of attitudes about fat and fat people constantly projected by mainstream media, is it any wonder so many overweight people have a such a distorted and deficient sense of their own value? I keep hoping we’re making progress in changing attitudes. When I say ”we” I am speaking of the size acceptance movement and those active in it. Want to get involved? Speak out and speak up!
